From Mary Crowley's Cooking with Love and Butter Cookbook
Ingredients:
1 head broccoli
1 medium red onion - diced1/2 lb. bacon or real bacon bits
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
Topping
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon vinegar
Cut broccoli into bite size pieces, fry bacon and break into bite size
pieces, add onion and cheese.. Combine all topping ingredients in aseparate bowl and mix well. Add to salad...enjoy! I keep this in my Bean Pot to keep fresh
